"It’s a great property, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The layout is expansive and peaceful, with multiple pools and a serene jungle atmosphere. That said, you’ll definitely want to rent a car if you plan to explore, grab food, or go on excursions—transportation to and from the resort ran nearly $200 each way for us. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure a rental. Overall, if you’re looking for something affordable with an authentic jungle getaway vibe, this is a solid option."

"Beautiful setting and absolutely amazing staff that make you feel so welcome. Upon arrival our girls immediately went to the pool. Within minutes, Joe the groundskeeper arrived with fresh coconuts with straws for them to drink. Carlos the night time security guard was so friendly and helpful. We would love to return to Cassia Hill in the future. "

"A beautiful location with stunning views from the cabanas. The food and drinks at the on-site restaurant and coffee shop were very good and fairly priced. A real bonus is having your own terrace in front of the cabana with a hammock which is protected by a fly net. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Ample parking available. We would have liked a fridge and safe in the room but otherwise loved our stay here. "

"The property is beautifully designed with its gardens and trails throughout. Our casita was nice and spacious. Cleanliness is definitely an issue around the property. People just dump their garbage everywhere along the beach, very sad. The beaches were gorgeous otherwise but it's good to know that the water, despite its serene color on pictures is quite murkey and there's nothing to see if you like snorkeling. The snorkel reefs are about a 1.5-2h boat ride away. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival when we were charged a very high rate for getting picked up at the ferry about 25 min away, which was not mentioned to us. We also thought the restaurant and dining experience was not as serene as advertised in the photos, many tables are plastic folding tables and basic plastic chairs which kinda killed the ambiance. The food was delicious though, we enjoyed their breakfast and dinner options. Most staff was pretty friendly and helpful. "

"Wifi was spotty when it worked, Basically locked in at night. Room key doesn't fit security gate, but managed to get it open so we could go out at 6am. No staff around to open it, I wasn't trying to be quiet about it either."
